I'm greatly indebted to a large number of people for making my running career possible. Thanks to Coach Bob Kitchens of University of Texas, Elpaso who offered me a track Scholarship in 1987 to attend Mississippi State.

I will like to thank everyone that was at my corner during my comeback bid in 1994. Thanks to Lee Evans, 1968 Olympic gold medallist and Mike Mittlestadt who truly sharpened my thinking when I made a comeback.

Finally, I want to express my appreciation to my son, Junior, for exercising patience with my tight schedule.

Thanks to my former team mates, Gabriel Lessor (site design) and George Ogbeide (content development).
